The CEO is an executive-level role that will, in the near-term, report directly to the founder and current CEO, who expects to decrease his involvement in the business over time. McKissock’s management team understands the importance of methodical succession planning, and as such, the current CEO is interested in proactively bringing on strong executive talent to transition into the CEO role over time. Assuming exceptional performance against predetermined corporate and business development objectives during the transition period, this person will inherit general management responsibility as CEO over time.
The CEO will be immediately responsible for spearheading non-organic growth via acquisitions and partnerships. The primary responsibilities of the CEO in this role will include the identification, prioritization, execution, and integration of acquisition and partnership opportunities. This person will also be responsible for identifying and executing upon strategic growth opportunities in non-core markets, and helping to craft and execute upon the businesses overall strategic direction. Following a transition period, during which the non-organic growth objectives outlined will be expected to be achieved, this person will assume a general oversight role with full P&L responsibility as the current CEO scales back his involvement in the business.
